A season, not a single test day.
Speed, power, strength, aerobic endurance, and anaerobic endurance, tracked over time and rolled into one score — so a player's shape this month reads against their own history, not a single number in isolation.

Every pillar, charted
Each of the five pillars behind the Athletic Performance Score gets its own line over time, not just a snapshot from the most recent test day. A coach can see whether a player's strength has been climbing steadily through pre-season, or whether their endurance dipped around the same week their wellness scores dropped too.
A missing test doesn't distort the picture
If a player misses a test for one pillar, that pillar's weight gets redistributed across the ones that do have data, scaled back up to the full total — never zero-filled, and never silently dropped either. That means a gap in the test battery reads as exactly what it is, not as a hidden penalty on the score.
Why the trend matters more than the number
A single Athletic Performance Score tells you where a player stands today. The trend behind it tells you whether that's the start of something, the middle of a plateau, or a genuine step forward — which is usually the more useful question for a coach planning the next block of training.
